During the month of April, we photographer our 'Beauty of the Ocean' Collection in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote, we flew with our amazing team Hannah the photographer and Evie our model, who coincidentally surfs in Lanzarote so it is a bit of a home from home for her.
When I say we, me and Dan my now husband flew leaving our two little ones behind for four whole days! Hoping for the most iconic photoshoot yet, we created vogue cover worthy images. Standards beyond the classic looks of the bridalwear commercialised industry.
This location Lag Omar was a treat for the eyes, an absolute treat of a day it turned into with a rustic lunch at the museum itself. As far as photoshoot campaigns go this was pretty relaxing apart from hiding from the sun in various spots accross the space of the museum.
Feeling inspired by the venue, Hannah our photographer created some short videos of the day which we didn't expect and loved! The photoshoot took place on day 1 of our trip. The night after a late arrival and the momentum of adrenaline excitement kept us going. I am wholly excited by photoshoot days, bar designing it has to be my most favourite experience of owning my own bridalwear brand.
There were so many options and locations on site to choose from, there really is so many processes to choosing the best spot to photograph each dress. A angle that best represents the gown of selection. The best tones of shapes and architecture to highlight the tones and features of the gowns. I wonder if now I have said this is that you will look at the images differently?
Here is the best chosen pairing of the day Dress vs Location not neccessarilly my favourite dress or my favourite location but the most dynamic on the day. It really did create a magical moment and we were all thrilled with the outcome, it gave us such a buzz on the day, we could all feel how special this time was.
